As one of nature’s most powerful lipophilic antioxidants, astaxanthin has been shown to be 500 times more powerful than Vitamin E, 10 times more efficient than beta-carotene and 5 times more potent than lutein. Its ability to cross the blood-brain and blood-retina barriers means it can positively impact brain, central nervous system and eye health. When looking at damaging UV light effects on cells, astaxanthin was found to be 1000 times more effective than both beta-carotene and lutein in protecting both eyes and skin. Since lutein and beta-carotene are already present in a healthy diet, astaxanthin is a far more important ingredient for supplementation.

Zanthin® Natural Astaxanthin
Valensa’s Zanthin® Natural Astaxanthin is a stabilized and standardized 7% astaxanthin containing oleoresin manufactured from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis using a proprietary SCFX extraction process. Valensa holds a patent (US 5527533) for its use in supporting eye health against age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Additionally, Zanthin® contains 1% additional beneficial carotenoids including lutein and beta-carotene.

Tresalbio™ Omega-3 Chia Seed Extract
Derived from Chia seed (Salvia hispanica), this product offers the highest natural concentration of Omega-3 (with an Omega 3:6 ratio of 3:1) in a highly stable form with a two-year shelf life.
